Seeking a dedicated professional to support students with diverse needs through the application of assistive technology in an educational setting. This role is situated in Saint Joseph, MN, within a K-12 school environment, focusing on enhancing the learning experiences of all students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in special education, assistive technology, or a related field
• Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with disabilities
• Strong knowledge of assistive technology tools and software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Assess students needs for assistive technology and recommend appropriate tools
• Implement and monitor the use of assistive devices and software in the classroom
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate assistive technology into the curriculum
• Provide training and support to students and staff on the use of assistive technology
• Maintain documentation of student progress and technology effectiveness
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student support plans
