Kenwood Dealer Group, a premier dealership group located in southwest Ohio, is seeking a talented Group Controller to join our team. This individual will be positioned to immediately contribute, innovate, and lead our growing organization into the future. We have 15 locations offering sales, service and collision repair in the Cincinnati and Dayton area. The Group Controller will play a key role in the revision and building of the corporate and dealership accounting teams and organization. This position will assist the CFO and upper management to help improve and streamline accounting procedures and processes. Extensive prior accounting experience is a must. Roles and Responsibilities: Assist with and manage all corporate and dealership accounting functions for 16 locations Manage cash flow, inventory and work with the general ledger Financial analysis Balance sheet reconciliations Prepare corporate and dealership financial statements Handle revenue and cost of sale recognition Month and year-end close Internal audits Assist with all acquisitions Involvement with all accounting team hiring, terminations, and restructuring of staff Financial-related projects as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA a plus Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required 5+ Years of accounting experience Automotive experience preferred, but not required Prior experience utilizing automotive accounting interfaces Strong policy and procedure improvement and implementations based on past performance Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Outstanding benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401( k) retirement plan, and lucrative compensation Employee discounts for vehicle purchases, service repairs, and maintenance work A career path with tremendous long-term potential for professional and financial growth Must be 21 or older.
