Circa Resort & Casino JOB SUMMARY: Monitor digital media assets within the sportsbook including but not limited to TVs, display boards, and other signage. Create and distribute all printed media containing Sportsbook odds, lines, and other relevant information. Set up all wagering options within the Sportsbook software and post all events in the system upon completion. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures within the Sportsbook Department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all time
- Setup LED boards in a creative way within the sportsbook area to convey daily odds and information
- Edit, print, and distribute customer betting sheets and parlay cards
- Enter betting numbers and odds into the Sportsbook system
- Posting of accurate and timely results into the Sportsbook system upon completion of betting events
- Assist supervisors with sports related statistics and information gathering
- Monitor customer betting sheets and parlay card areas for refill
QUALIFICATIONS: - Advanced knowledge of sports and ability to distinguish most popular games for displaying on TVs in Sportsbook
- Working knowledge of sports betting and ability to understand odds
- Must possess basic counting and mathematical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with ability to create documents from scratch
- Ability to learn and work on different type of electronic systems found within Sportsbook
- Understand and comply with all company, departmental and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies and procedures
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationship with Team Members and guests
- Must be able to maintain Gaming work card
- Must be at least 21 years of age
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: - High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year previous Sportsbook experience
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: - Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
- Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
- Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Constant contact with fellow Team Members
