Overview

A leading telecom infrastructure provider is seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Laborer to support the installation of telecom cables, equipment, and related infrastructure. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, rapidly expanding industry focused on wireless networks and EV charging stations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the construction of small cell sites, EV charging stations, and other telecom infrastructure projects.
• Perform fieldwork including trench digging, conduit installation, concrete pad setup, restoration, saw cutting, and asphalt patching.
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment such as backhoes and trenchers.
• Support roadway excavation, greenfield construction, and site restoration (e.g., grass seeding, paving).
• Collaborate with journeymen, electricians, construction managers, and other skilled trades on active job sites.
• On inclement weather days, assist with cabinet installations and other warehouse-based tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of civil labor experience in construction, concrete work, restoration, and general site prep.
• Familiarity with power tools and construction equipment.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn the telecommunications industry.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and material handling.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in OSP (Outside Plant) construction.
• Experience with restoration, paving, and site cleanup.
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and a desire to grow professionally.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and support various teams as needed.

Work Environment

• Field-based role with exposure to outdoor conditions and active construction sites.
• Collaborative team setting involving civil, electrical, and telecom crews.
• Warehouse work during weather-related downtime.
• Fast-paced environment supporting major wireless carriers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
