The Office of the Center for Financial Wellness at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) invites applications and nominations for our Coordinator, Financial Wellness Coaching & Operations position. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. This is an on-campus position with some hybrid/remote work schedule flexibility. Reporting to the Associate Director of the Center for Financial Wellness, the Coordinator of Financial Wellness Coaching & Operations is a key member of the Center for Financial Wellness (CFW) team, providing advanced financial wellness coaching while ensuring efficient day-to-day operations to support CFW’s mission. This role provides one-on-one and group financial wellness coaching to students, families, and alumni with a focus on loan debt reduction, repayment planning, debt management strategies, and long-term financial success. The Coordinator advances the mission of the University and the Enrollment Management division by helping students make informed financial decisions that support persistence to graduation and prepare them for a confident transition into post-college life. This role will contribute to building a culture of lifelong financial wellness that supports academic and workforce success. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of CFW, including supervising and developing financial wellness coaches and student staff, coordinating workshops and outreach initiatives, and collaborating with campus partners to embed financial education across the student experience. The position demands both expertise in delivering advanced financial coaching on complex topics and strong organizational skills to ensure the smooth, high-impact functioning of the office.
