SUMMARY

The My Auto Store Utility Worker - Parts Delivery is responsible for delivering automotive parts to our customers in the tristate area. The ideal candidate is customer focused with a desire to provide first class delivery services. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for driving a 16 foot box truck to deliver automotive parts to customers. 
• Responsible for ensuring all deliveries are loaded onto the truck at the start of the shift.
• Responsible for interacting with customers.
• Responsible for collecting all paperwork and complying with all federal and state regulations.
• Prior experience driving a box truck and making deliveries is preferred.
• Perform physical labor as necessary in the performance of the assignment
• Will require employee to work in all weather conditions. Employee will be outside for the majority of their day.
• This job will require driving routes in the tristate area.
• Must operate truck in accordance with state and federal safety laws
• Heavy lifting is required
• Other duties as assigned by management
• When not on the road, employee will assist in warehouse operations.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Must be available to work from 6am to 6pm and occasional weekends 

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Geographic knowledge of the tristate area and its roads.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
• Ability to safely navigate congested roads and maintain an even temperament
• Ability to project a professional appearance and demeanor with customers
• Ability to read a map and/or follow written directions 
• Ability to work overtime, both scheduled and unscheduled, to meet the needs of our customers
• Must accurately complete logs, reports and vehicle inspection daily.
• Must comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and with all company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Reached age of 21, or older to cross state lines.
• GED or High school Diploma
• Drug testing, physical, criminal background check and driving background investigations will be conducted by management prior to employment.
• Must possess a current DOT physical assessment card.

OTHER JOB DEMANDS

Work is generally performed outdoors in all-weather elements such as hot, cold, rain, or snow and personal protective equipment is required. Working hours may vary and evening or weekend work may be required. You may be required to lift and carry light weights.
