Job Description

Base Pay Range $60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Job Overview Mini Melts is an established leader in cryogenically frozen ice cream. As a company we are on the forefront of the ice cream industry, growing nationally and looking for leaders and team players to join our united team. As a Mini Melts Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of facilities, product, fleet management, employees, equipment, customer service requests, and day‑to‑day operations. You will be a self‑motivated individual who takes ownership to fulfill client and customer needs, with strong leadership, communication, decision‑making, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills. Job Duties Establishes and maintains a clean, safe work environment while working hands‑on or independently, displaying a disciplined work style and strong work ethic. Manage and build a united team of delivery drivers and encourage good moral character. Manage route drivers’ delivery of products, preventive maintenance of equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction is a top priority. Maintain accurate records of invoices, purchase orders, and all documentation needed by the Central Office. Develop a deep understanding of the products, equipment, and all aspects of Mini Melts policies and procedures. Plan, distribute, monitor, and follow up on daily route assignments to ensure customers are serviced per company standards and agreements. Coordinate, schedule, and deliver equipment as requested, following up to ensure equipment is fully operational and in working order. Communicate and follow up on sales opportunities, problems at customers’ locations, repairs, freezer swaps, and safety issues reported by route drivers. Order, maintain, and monitor all product inventories. Monitor and follow up with fleet maintenance. Manage the end‑of‑day check‑in process, capturing and communicating key service, safety, and daily operations information. Travel to and from Mini Melts satellite offices, ensuring day‑to‑day operations are fulfilled. Job Requirements Associate’s degree in Business Management or related field (or equivalent work experience with 5+ years of operational or fleet management). Ability to lift 50 lbs. Valid Driver’s License. Clean driving record (2 years). Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills. 401(k) participation. Health insurance. Paid time off.
