Medical Guardian is a fast-paced and rapidly growing medical alert and remote patient monitoring company with a substantial Health Services division. We are seeking an experienced Alarm Monitoring Operator to join our team.

Medical Guardian’s mission is to empower our members to Live a Life Without Limits by providing an extensive suite of products and services and a best-in-class service experience. The Alarm Monitoring Operator will play an integral role in achieving our mission by offering fast, friendly, and knowledgeable assistance on test and emergency alarm calls through member PERS devices. 

This opportunity is hybrid, and our headquarters is located in center city Philadelphia. The hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. 

Responsibilities: 

Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally in stressful situations, adhering to established alarm protocol. 

Dispatch the proper authorities, verify that help is on the way and notify responsible parties. 

Place accounts on test mode and assist service/installers with signal tests. 

Accurately document all responses and actions for alarms in account records. 

Learn and use new software to complete multiple tasks. 

Consistently meet or exceed team and personal performance objectives. 

Maintain regular and reliable attendance and adherence to daily schedule. 

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred. 

2+ years' experience in a call/monitoring center role. 

Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office suite. 

Experience with alarm monitoring software preferred. 

Ability to multitask. 

Compassionate, professional and enthusiastic with a passion for serving. 

Effective active listening skills. 

Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
