Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant at Physicians Care - New Grads Welcome! Job Summary: As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will provide exceptional medical care to patients of all ages with various acute and chronic conditions. Collaborating with a healthcare team, you will diagnose, treat, and educate patients, ensuring high standards of care. Full-time providers work 36-40 hours weekly, with rotating shifts; PRN staff work as needed. Key Responsibilities: Provide exemplary customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers. Deliver friendly, accessible patient care. Lead and assist during emergencies, maintaining a comforting presence. Work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with variable hours and locations. Perform medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups, including primary, urgent, occupational, DOT physicals, and workers’ compensation cases. Perform procedures such as laceration repairs, nail removals, pap tests, injections, splinting, and abscess drainage. Establish and monitor appropriate care levels. Oversee laboratory, x-ray, and collection services as applicable. Maintain clinical competencies and adhere to policies and standards. Participate in policy development, education programs, and growth initiatives. Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accreditation requirements. Represent the company at meetings and events. Guide and support other medical staff to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction. Requirements: Experience preferred but new graduates are welcome. State license as an APRN or Physician Assistant. Certification through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA. DEA license or willingness to obtain. DOT certification or willingness to obtain. BLS certification.
