gpac, a 30+ years recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the Trucking Transportation Logistics industry that is seeking a talented Freight Broker to join their team.

This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who enjoy the thrill of the chase and excel in a fast-paced environment. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, negotiating rates, and coordinating shipments.

Position Responsibilities:

- Actively pursue new clients and maintain current client relationships

- Negotiate rates with carriers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions

- Coordinate shipments and track delivery status

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and carriers

- Monitor market trends and adjust pricing accordingly

Position Essential Job Functions:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong negotiation skills

- Proven ability to meet deadlines

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

- 1-3 years of work experience preferred

- Transportation industry experience preferred

- High school degree or equivalent preferred
