Join the experience as we are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Houseperson at ROOST Apartment Hotel in Baltimore. As a Housekeeping Houseperson, you are responsible for providing quality guest service as it pertains to packages, storage room organization and bell duty services in a gracious and professional manner.

Job Description

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hotel public areas, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, and restrooms.
• Assist room attendants with the delivery of linens, towels, and other supplies.
• Remove trash and dirty linens from guest rooms and common areas.
• Restock housekeeping carts with supplies as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Ensure all storage areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, balance and carry up to 25 lbs. to transport carts, cleaning supplies, linen, equipment, etc.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods to clean and organize the guest rooms, spaces, storage, equipment, etc.
