The Legal Department's Insurance Regulation team is responsible for drafting and filing insurance policy forms and advertising that are in compliance with nationwide laws and regulations.
Job Description and Responsibilities: - Conduct 50-state research on laws applicable to the Company's insurance products.
- Research statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Review regulatory change notifications received from third-party vendor, state insurance department(s), industry sources, etc.
- Develop a spreadsheet/method that summarizes research for ease of use by team members.
- Ability and willingness to perform clerical functions as needed.
- Work on different projects within the department as well as team projects.
Required Skills - Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly assess problems and find workable solutions.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
- Positive attitude and inquisitive nature.
- Accuracy and attention to detail; strong proofing and analytical skills.
- Must have strong MS Excel skills and be proficient in all other MS Office applications.
- Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift.

Required Experience - Completion of at least 1 year of study in a juris doctor degree program at an accredited law school
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (Official Transcript May be Requested)
- Have the ability to work 40 hours per week June 3, 2024 - July 26, 2024.
- U.S. citizen or legal resident.
