Maintenance Mechanic - Level 2 As a Maintenance Mechanic - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment and machinery within our facility. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Your expertise in maintenance and repair will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. You will report directly to our Maintenance Supervisor and you'll work out of our Chickasaw, AL location on a full-time, on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the success of our facility by ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and in good working condition. You will contribute to the overall improvement of operational processes and help to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments, to ensure the proper functioning of equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime Conduct preventive maintenance activities to prevent equipment failure and extend equipment lifespan Collaborate with other maintenance team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical problems Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards Qualifications You Must Have Experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues Basic understanding of electrical systems We Value Technical certification or associate's degree in a relevant field Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures Strong problem-solving skills
