We offer creators a variety of ways to engage with their fans and build a lasting business including: paid memberships, free memberships, community chats, live video, and selling to fans directly with one-time purchases. We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Motion Designer to support our mission. This role is based in New York or San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model. About the Team You’ll be working with a team of multihyphenate creative designers and writers within the Marketing and Communications departments dedicated to bringing craft, creativity, and tone to everything from crystal clear product walkthroughs to bold format defying brand campaigns. About the Role As the team's motion designer you’ll be responsible for bringing equal taste, instinct, and experience to projects that require managing development and maintenance of always‑on formats and develop/deliver work for non‑traditional brand campaigns that require high concept vision and bespoke, breakthrough style. About You Successful candidates are self‑motivated, endlessly curious creative thinkers whose mastery of their craft and tools makes moving from concept to execution feel natural. Their instinct for style, passion for championing great work, and ability to communicate equally well with product developers, culture‑first editorial teams, and the Patreon creator community at large will determine whether this role feels energizing and in‑flow—or overwhelming. In compliance with New York and California pay transparency laws, we are sharing the expected salary range for this role. The posted salary range is dependent on the location and the level. This range may encompass multiple levels within the role’s job family. The final offer will be based on candidate’s experience, skills, competencies, and geographic location, aligning with the appropriate job level within Patreon’s leveling framework. For remote employees located outside CA and NY, salary may vary based on location and local market conditions.
