Scaletta Armoring, an automotive remanufacturer located in Bedford Park, IL has an immediate need for Paint Prep Technicians and Auto Body Buffers. We offer the following:

• Bonuses for Attendance (no absences, early leaves or late arrivals for 1 month equals $200 bonus per month and no absences and no more than 2 early leaves or late arrivals equals $100 bonus per month)

PAINT PREP TECHNICIANS

Duties and Responsibilities

· Body preparation, priming, rough paint

· Perform needed body work to include use of body filler for repairs

· Prepare vehicles for painting to include cleaning, sanding and priming

· Wet, sand and buff finished vehicle

· Ensure proper maintenance of booth

· Ensure proper usage and storage of painting products

· Perform other duties as assigned or directed

Required Skills and Abilities

· Previous related experience or technical training

· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, spec sheet and paint manufacturer requirements

AUTO BODY BUFFERS

Duties and Responsibilities

· DA sanding newly painted vehicles

· Wet sanding

· Buffing with wool and foam pads and compound

· Final Polishing

· Washing vehicle and removing all compound residue

· Perform other duties as assigned or directed

Skills and Abilities

· Previous related experience or technical training/certification

· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
