Mewbourne Oil Company is accepting applications for a PLC Programmer in Midland, Texas to support field operations.
Job Description: Mewbourne operates oil and gas production facilities throughout the Permian and Anadarko Basins. Our department's mission is to develop and support automated control functionality for our production facilities. Your job will be to develop and maintain our PLC/HMI platform. You will manage a team of internal and contract personnel that will commission, troubleshoot, and maintain our production facilities. This will involve working with petroleum engineers to build out new functionality, integrate new devices, and improve efficiency. Day to day responsibilities will involve a combination of office, field, and hands on work. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to make high impact contributions to the daily operations of hundreds of employees and contractors.

Schedule: Predominantly Monday - Friday with some weekend work, as needed. Mix of office and field-based work with frequent trips to field locations. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.
