Recruiter / HR Generalist

Location: Irvine, CA (Mon.-Thur. onsite, Friday remote)
Compensation: $75,000 – $92,000 DOE + excellent benefits

About the Opportunity

A rapidly growing, well-established financial services firm is seeking an experienced Recruiter / HR Generalist to join its high-performing team. This is a dual-impact role — you’ll own full-cycle recruiting while also serving as a key HR partner across the organization. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, highly organized, and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment where both strategic thinking and hands-on execution are valued.

What You’ll Do

Talent Acquisition

  • Drive the full-cycle recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing offers.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies.

  • Build and maintain proactive pipelines of top talent through networking, research, and outreach.

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience at every stage.

  • Manage relationships with external recruiting partners as needed.

  • Ensure recruiting practices are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.

HR Generalist Support

  • Support core HR functions including benefits administration, payroll coordination, and employee relations.

  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Assist in performance management processes, coaching managers and supporting employee development.

  • Help drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor and resource to managers, employees, and leadership.

  • Communicate recruiting activity and HR initiatives to internal stakeholders.

  • Foster strong relationships across the organization to support alignment and collaboration.

  • Handle employee inquiries and concerns with professionalism, confidentiality, and care.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of combined experience in recruiting and human resources, preferably within a corporate or professional services environment.

  • Proven success managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple departments or functions.

  • Solid understanding of employment law and HR compliance.

  • Hands-on experience with benefits administration, payroll support, and employee relations.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort presenting to leadership.

  • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems (selection, implementation, or administration a plus).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
