Recruiter / HR Generalist
Location: Irvine, CA (Mon.-Thur. onsite, Friday remote)
Compensation: $75,000 – $92,000 DOE + excellent benefits
About the Opportunity
A rapidly growing, well-established financial services firm is seeking an experienced Recruiter / HR Generalist to join its high-performing team. This is a dual-impact role — you’ll own full-cycle recruiting while also serving as a key HR partner across the organization. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, highly organized, and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment where both strategic thinking and hands-on execution are valued.
What You’ll Do
Talent Acquisition
Drive the full-cycle recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing offers.
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies.
Build and maintain proactive pipelines of top talent through networking, research, and outreach.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience at every stage.
Manage relationships with external recruiting partners as needed.
Ensure recruiting practices are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
HR Generalist Support
Support core HR functions including benefits administration, payroll coordination, and employee relations.
Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Assist in performance management processes, coaching managers and supporting employee development.
Help drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Maintain accurate and compliant employee records.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor and resource to managers, employees, and leadership.
Communicate recruiting activity and HR initiatives to internal stakeholders.
Foster strong relationships across the organization to support alignment and collaboration.
Handle employee inquiries and concerns with professionalism, confidentiality, and care.
What You Bring
5+ years of combined experience in recruiting and human resources, preferably within a corporate or professional services environment.
Proven success managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple departments or functions.
Solid understanding of employment law and HR compliance.
Hands-on experience with benefits administration, payroll support, and employee relations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort presenting to leadership.
Experience with HRIS and ATS systems (selection, implementation, or administration a plus).
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
