RSM US LLP is looking for a dynamic M&A Federal Tax team member to join our national Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Tax group. This is a rapidly growing practice with significant advancement opportunities. We advise multinational corporations, privately held companies, partnerships, and private equity firms on the tax aspects of planning, structuring, and executing M&A transactions. _Responsibilities_ : Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that focuses on delivering due diligence and tax structuring services, and communicates findings and opportunities to clients Work with and assist other senior members of the M&A Tax practice with various technical tax issues dealing with consolidated returns, S Corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies Assist clients with reorganizations, bankruptcy emergence planning, out of court workouts, debt restructurings, tax basis, Earning and Profits, and Section 382 studies _Basic Qualifications_ : Bachelor's Degree or Law Degree from an accredited college/university Travel to assigned client locations is required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred _Preferred Qualifications_ : Working toward the successful completion of the bar exam Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to work effectively on a team Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment At RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
