Job Description

Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Logistics Data Analyst with strong expertise in large ERP data sets, data quality management and assurance, and insight generation, complemented by proficiency in Power BI dashboard development, data visualization, and KPI/metric design. Demonstrated ability to gather and translate business owner requirements into actionable dashboards, metrics, and performance indicators that support data-driven decision-making. Experienced in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility within Army logistics and sustainment systems (GCSS-Army, LMP, etc.). Adept at analyzing trends, developing executive-level reporting, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver insights that improve processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen readiness.

Responsibilities
• Data Quality Management & Integrity: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of Army logistics data within systems (GCSS-A, LMP, etc.). Identify and resolve discrepancies, enforce data quality rules, and maintain actionable datasets that support decision-making.
• Data Analysis & Insights: Perform in-depth analysis of large ERP datasets to validate data quality, uncover trends in equipment performance, maintenance costs, inventory levels, and supply chain performance. Produce recurring reports that highlight anomalies and recommend corrective actions.
• Dashboard Development & KPI Translation: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards with metrics grounded in data quality standards. Translate business owner needs into measurable KPIs and executive-level visualizations to drive informed decision-making.
• Business Needs Gathering: Collaborate with logistics, maintenance, and supply chain teams to capture requirements, define quality-driven performance indicators, and align analytics with operational objectives.
• Process Improvement: Partner with functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for data-driven process optimization, enhancing efficiency and reducing errors.
• Problem Solving & Governance: Investigate and resolve data-related issues while supporting governance activities, ensuring enforcement of Army data standards, policies, and compliance measures.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills with proven proficiency in large ERP data sets, data quality management, and assurance.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards in Power BI, including KPI and metric design, DAX calculations, and data modeling.
• Experience with Army logistics systems (GCSS-Army, LMP) is highly desirable, with expertise in at least one system.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP concepts and systems (SAP experience a plus).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with stakeholders across functions.
