The ideal candidate would have a high school diploma, a 2-year associate's degree, or previous experience operating machines such as SMT, CNC, or other mechanical/electronic equipment. Responsibilities include: Operation responsibilities: Responsible for daily machine operations, SMT line start-up and shut down, verification of run and first article inspections, reacting to machine menus, reel changes, error codes, and completing production paperwork accurately. Set-up responsibilities: Load programs, set feeder pitch, perform component set-ups, change-overs, and troubleshoot SMT line issues. Assist in other departments as needed and support manufacturing processes, following procedures and documentation standards. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Ability to stand for over 8 hours Effective verbal and written communication in English Basic math skills and data entry skills Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and quality standards 20/20 vision (with correction if needed) and color vision VIRTEX is an Equal Opportunity employer.
