Base pay range $23.00/hr - $28.00/hr MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR A US PERMANENT RESIDENT (ITAR REQUIREMENT). Support a Fortune 500 Aero Defense company as a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator. Operates through-hole or surface mount technology (SMT) automatic assembly equipment to produce high quality complex printed circuit board assemblies. Responsible for set‑up, operation and routine maintenance. Manually or using semi‑automatic equipment screen print solder paste. Operate adhesive dispensing equipment. Loads components supplied in tubes or reels onto feeders, and loads feeders onto placement equipment. May hand place some SMT components. Place assembled printed circuit boards into solder reflow ovens. May use standard electronic hand tools (solder, flux and adhesive). Utilize schematic diagrams, drawings, visual aids and other instructions to identify defects. Under limited supervision, responsible for moderately complex Surface Mount manufacturing processes utilizing automated equipment and hand assembly. Performs semi‑routine SMT, Inspection and AOI equipment set‑up, operation, and adjustment and utilizes other Surface Mount Technology equipment such as X‑RAY, Stencil Printing, etc. HM has stated that candidates with machine operator experience do well in this position.
