We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within the communications industry in Clayton, Missouri, and contribute to the company’s financial operations. The role requires someone with strong attention to detail who can efficiently manage accounting tasks and provide critical support for both domestic and international financial processes.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post accurate journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Conduct thorough reviews of prepaid accounts and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
• Analyze balance sheets and recommend adjustments to enhance financial presentation.
• Manage monthly and quarterly international tax journal entries with precision and compliance.
• Review and reconcile month-end account balances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee the year-end ledger roll and close processes to finalize annual financial statements.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and V-lookup to streamline data analysis.
• Adapt to changing assignments and priorities, providing support across various accounting tasks.
• Assist in preparing annual international tax schedules for foreign subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with regulations.• Proven experience with month-end close processes and general ledger accounting.
• Strong proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries.
• Expertise in account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookup.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data effectively.
• Experience with international tax schedules and compliance is highly desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities.
